Your Worst Trade?

I was just reminiscing about some of my older cards and sets and thought about a few of the trades I had made when I was younger.

I’ve made some square deals, and some lopsided (in both directions) trades.

For some reason, I thought about my worst personal trade ever. I had bought the 1982 Topps set when I was younger. It was a nice set, but nothing fantastic. (Remember it had that design on the side that looked like it might belong on the side of a sneaker?)

Well, my bro had a 1978 Eddie Murray rookie card. At the time, the seventies seemed like eons ago. (Was probably about 5 years in actuality). Murray, as you know, had already established himself as an All-Star hitter and one of my favorites. Okay, so I probably don’t need to tell you the rest of this story, you know how it winds up.

How about you? What was your worst card trade ever?
