Have you heard that Topps will be releasing an entire set dedicated to Barrack Obama? Pretty interesting. The 90 card set will be shipping to collectors beginning on January 3rd, 2009. (That’s 17 days before his inauguration, in case you’re counting). The set will chronicle Obama’s rise to the Presidency.
Each pack of cards will include 6 cards plus one sticker. Topps is currently selling 6-pack combos for $11.94, and boxes for $47.95.
So what do you think? Will this be a collector’s item? I don’t think there is any doubt that it will be a hit with collectors of all types. The question is….will it be a good investment?
