Okay, maybe the word invade is a bit drastic. How about converge? Sports memorabilia collectors will converge in Ohio this summer. That sounds better.
If you haven’t guessed already the annual “National”, the National Sports Collectors Convention, will be taking place in Ohio this year. It will be held at the International Exposition Center in Cleveland Ohio, July 29-August 2, 2009 and there will be many, many collectors, dealers, industry experts and even a few athletes providing sigs too.
Who will be signing autographs at the convention this year, you ask? Well, here are a few of the names: Tom Seaver (as a Met fan, he’s by far my favorite to be signing this year), Craig Biggio and Bruce Sutter. If you’re into football, there will be a few Hall of Famers signing also, including Lynn Swann and Barry Sanders.
