So, the first free baseball card winner will be announced on February 1st. With that date approaching, I wanted to give you all a heads up as to what the second free baseball card winner will be receiving. To be announced on March 1st, the second free baseball card winner will receive a Jason Varitek 2007 Upper Deck MLB Artifacts, Divisional Artifacts card. The card is number DA-VA and is currently listed with a book value of $10 ungraded. It includes a swatch of Jason Varitek’s jersey certified as having been used in an official Major League Baseball game. This card is in near mint to mint
condition, as I recently picked it from a blaster box. The card is currently housed in a hard plastic screw down case and will be sent directly to you, if you are named the winner on March 1st. Attached are the photos, excuse the blurriness (I’ll try to put up better photos if I get the time; I’m still working on this whole photography thing.) Anyway, good luck, and remember, all you need to do to be entered to win this card is sign up for the free Card Collector Universe e-mail feed from the top right hand side of the blog front page. Good luck and keep on collecting!
