Who Else Wants Deals on Baseball Card Hobby Boxes?

March 29th, 2009 · 1 Comment

Finding the very best deal on a baseball card hobby box isn’t always super easy. You can’t just go to a site like shopping.com or bizrate.com and find the best deal. But….if you find some of the best online retailers, and do a search on eBay, you can very often find one of the best, if not THE best deal on hobby boxes online. Here are some deals that I doubt you’d be able to beat online.

2006 Upper Deck Series 2 Hobby Box
You get 24 packs with eight cards per pack. Inside each box you’ll find a rookie pack box topper, an insert card per pack, and a signature card or game-used memorabilia card. Your best price, as found at Orange County Sports Cards? $41.

2009 Upper Deck Series 1 Hobby Box
In this year’s UD series 1 release, you’ll find on average, one autograph AND two game-used memorabilia cards. 16 packs with 20 cards per pack in each box. Best price found is $62 at Dave and Adam’s card world.

2009 Topps Heritage Hobby Box
$76 at Orange County Sports Cards is probably the best price you’ll find. 24 packs per box, with eight cards per pack. On average, you’ll find one autograph or relic card per box.

Of course, you can always bid for a hobby box on eBay to get your best possible price.
