Baseball Card News This Week – January 15, 2010

2009 (yeah, I know, it’s 2010 isn’t it?) Bowman Sterling became available for collectors on January 13th. (By the way – this isn’t the last of the 2009 baseball card products yet to come out!)

A 1-of-1 2009 Topps Tribute Roy Campanella cut autograph card sold for $1,000 online.

There’s been quite a bit of buzz about an upcoming movie with a plot involving stolen baseball card. The movie, by director Kevin Smith, is called “Cop Out“, and will be in theaters on February 26th.

Up next for release this coming week is 2009 Donruss Elite Extra Edition and 2009 Topps Sterling.
