Baseball Card News This Week – February 26th, 2010

If you’ve sent out a baseball card to a major league team for a player to sign and haven’t received it back in a short time, don’t despair. As you’ll see, one collector received his autograph request through the mail after waiting quite a long time. How about 15 years after his originial request?

I’d guess that there are quite a few collectors who can identify with Woody Paige’s pain at discovering the current value of a complete 1958 Topps baseball set.

A 1992 Derek Jeter autographed Little Sun High School card, graded PSA 9, sold for $1,136 in auction on eBay, on Feb. 25. This card seems pretty rare. Does anyone have any more information about this card and where it came from?

2010 Topps Heritage baseball was set for release this past week (Feb. 25).  You can see the first look pics on the Beckett Blog here
