Card Collector Universe

The guys over at A Pack A Day (baseball cards, not cigarettes….or tissues, or anything else,) came up with a pretty ingenious idea.  The Draft Pick World Series.  They matched up cards picked out of Bowman and Tristar packs on a card-by-card, inning-by-inning basis.  If you get a chance, give it a read.  I found it interesting, entertaining and informative. 

I’m a Bowman devotee.  Unabashedly.  I can’t get enough Bowman.  I think I’m addicted to Chrome.  Anyway, they matched up the Tristar cards against the Bowman cards.  Gotta say that Tristar won and should have, based on the cards that turned up.  But…..I’d still buy a pack or box of Bowman cards before I’d buy Tristar.  I’m devoted to ‘em.  Plus, there’s always the chance you’re going to pick up that Joba or Lincecum auto.  Can’t pass that up.
