You’ll find all sorts of prices on the net for baseball hobby boxes. A quick search of shopping.com turned up prices of $99.99 and $118.26 for a hobby box of ’09 UD Icons.
But to find your best price, you’ve got to look in the right places. Personally, I always check out Dave and Adam’s Card World first. 2009 Upper Deck Icons hobby boxes are selling for a great price of $80.95 there. If you buy at the right time, you may even get free ground shipping.
The next place I tend to look is Orange County Sports Cards. The price of a hobby box of Icons here is $84 and you get free shipping if you spend over $150.
You’ll also always find good priced hobby boxes on eBay. A quick search shows that 2009 Baseball Icons hobby boxesare selling with Buy It Now in the $80 to $85 range, cases (12 boxes) are selling for around $975 with free shipping in some cases, and you may even be able to get a hobby box for less by bidding in an auction.
