Card Collector Universe

Another new baseball card release for 2009 will be Upper Deck Icons, available to baseball card collectors in July.  With this new baseball card release, you’ll get 10 packs per hobby box and 6 cards per pack.  Hobby boxes are currently in pre-sell, and you can find them on eBay for about $90. 

In each hobby box, you’re getting one signature card on average. 

An interesting twist on the letterman cards will be found in ‘09 Icons, with Celebrity Letterman, featuring celebs such as Jeremy Piven.  (You may know him as Cheeeeeeese from Old School, or if you’re a bit older you may recognize him from PCU.) 

You’ll find two lettermen cards per Icon Hobby Box, including baseball legends and today’s MLB stars.  One of the types of lettermen cards you’ll want to see when you’re busting open a box of Icons, is a Legendary Lettermen Autograph, limited to a count of 99 per card.
