Hobby boxes for Upper Deck’s 2009 A Piece of History release are currently in presale for about $65. This release comes out in mid-April of 2009. What do you get, on average, in each hobby box? One autograph card, two memorabilia cards, and one piece of Hollywood memorabilia card. Not bad for $65. You’re getting 16 packs per box with 7 cards per pack.
This year’s release is somewhat similar in look to last year’s release, with the marble type background. Little bit more color this year though.
The Hollywood memorabilia cards are a twist that has gained in popularity recently.
Looks like this will be a hit with collectors who are looking for value from their hobby boxes, with respect to auto’s and memorabilia cards. Whad’ya think?
