2009 Topps Finest Baseball will be available by mid-April. Hobby boxes are currently in pre-sell on eBay for about $90. Each hobby box of 2009 Topps Finest will include two mini-boxes. Inside those mini-boxes you’ll get six packs with five cards per pack. Each mini-box will have one rookie autographed letter patch, signed right on the patch. These rookie autographed letter cards will be numbered to 299, and there will of course be parallels of these numbered to 75, 25, 10, 5 and 1. Each hobby box (master box) will also include 10 numbered parallel cards and one rookie redemption card. Some of the key rookie autographs you might find include: David Price, Kila Ka’aihue, Mat Gamel, and Matt Antonelli.
Finest is one of the best releases put out by Topps in my opinion. Yes, it’s certainly a bit pricey, but you do get quite a bit for your investment. For images of the cards and more details, check out the sell sheet.
