2009 Topps Chrome Baseball cards will be available in late July or early August of ’09. In each hobby box, you’ll find two rookie autographed cards, guaranteed by Topps. Nice to see a guarantee put on the inclusion of auto cards in a hobby box. You usually just see the “on average” verbiage.
In each Chrome hobby box, you’ll find the usual 24 packs and 4 chrome cards per pack. 2009 Topps Chrome Baseball hobby boxes are currently in pre-sell and can be found for around $65, which seems like a pretty fair price to me.
You’ll find some nice rookie cards in the Chrome card release too. Guys like Mat Gamel, Travis Snider and Alicedes Escobar.

Of even greater interest is the inclusion of white Sock 3B prospect Dayan Viciedo. If I’m busting a box of T-Chrome? I would like to see one of that dude’s autos smiling back at me from inside a freshly cracked pack.
