Here comes our 2009 taste of Bowman Baseball! One of the best, or at least my favorite, releases each year, this year’s Bowman shouldn’t disappoint.

You’ll still be getting one autographed chrome prospect card in each hobby box. If you shell out the bucks for a jumbo box, you’ll get three autographed cards.

If you’re into the World Baseball Classic, which I personally wasn’t too into (with the exception of David Wright’s game winning hit in the late rounds of the tournament), you’ll also be getting Topps exclusive World Baseball Classic Chrome cards. These cards are sure to be popular with international card collectors.

Of the ten rookies who will have base card auto’s in this release, you’ll find Mat Gamel (#225), Matt Antonelli (#226) and Robert Parnell (#227). To see some of the prospects who will have auto cards, check out this link.

A hobby box of 2009 Bowman Baseball will set you back about $60 and a Jumbo Box will run you about $100.
