2008 Upper Deck Documentary Baseball Preview

The first release of Upper Deck Documentary Baseball will be available in December of this year.  This release will chronicle the 2008 MLB season, including 162 cards per team, matching the amount of games played.  This is a cool concept, to chronicle every game played during the year.  It’s kind of like the Upper Deck Yankee Stadium subset, chronicling every game ever played at Yankee Stadium.

 What you need to know:

  • 24 packs per box
  • 15 cards per pack
  • A hobby box will cost about $60
  • One seasonal signature autograph card per box
  • One Gold Parallel card in every pack

For the amount of cards you get per box, 360 (almost one for every day of the year), plus the one autographed card per box and one gold parallel card per box, this release looks to be a very good value.
